Patiscream

Went to Orchard Ion with J and K for a mini gathering on 30 Jul 2009. Did not get to have dinner there as all the eateries were swarmed with people. But as we were on our way to Wisma, we could not resist the delectable looking desserts called Patiscream.

These creations were from Marv
ellous Japan. They are little individually handmade parfaits that looked so exquisite.

We tried 3 flavours: Mont Blanc, Creme Brulee Banana Confiture, and Belgium Noisette Chocolat.

Of all the 3 flavours, I liked Mont Blanc most. It was creamy and satisfying. The yummy Italian chestnut cream and ice cream had me going and in no time, the cup was empty while my 2 friends were struggling with their other 2 flavours.

As much as it is interesting to introduce fruits to a conventional dessert, I'd have preferred if the creme brulee was plain instead of adding banana confiture. Also it did not have a caramelized top like how creme brulees should have. The Belgium noisette chocolat was pretty much like dark chocolate with hazelnut ice cream.

Check out the website for more description of the parfaits: http://www.patiscream.com/

Cheers! E
